Sign up today for an Adobe Creative Suite Class
Are you new to creative software or need to understand how creative tools work together to create beautiful content for print and the web? This course offers an introduction to the Adobe Creative Suite CS3, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Adobe Bridge. Whether you’re a graphic design novice, educator, or are brand new to the creative process, this course is for you.

Students will need basic computer skills, equal to those gained in Computer for the Beginner, and will need to obtain a copy of Adobe Professional Design Techniques with Adobe Creative Suite 3, for use outside of class. A 30 day demonstration version of the Creative Suite can be obtained free of charge at www.adobe.com. The textbook can be purchased from Amazon or at the Asheville Campus or Enka Site bookstore. Attendance at the first class is required.

The online Adobe Creative Suite class will use exercises from the book. Student can choice to either watch along with the class videos, without completely the exercises from the book. If you do wish to follow along with the book exercises, and post projects for grading, be sure to purchase the book. Not having the book for the first week of class will not impact your ability to follow along with the class material.

If you wish to follow along with the book exercises you will need to buy the book. For students who are waiting on the book to arrive. You can forward a copy of your purchase order for the “Adobe Creative Suite CS4 – Classroom in a Book” (ISBN-10: 0321573919) to me – the project source files are copyrighted by Adobe… I can not share files with students who do not purchase the book.

The Adobe Classroom in a Book series is a trusted publisher with wonderful in-depth tutorials. The Creative Suite Book is a very good resource even for the experienced user. I have quite a collection of the Classroom in a Book series and us them often for quick tips and advice.
